The Dead, The Gross, and The Poopy - Dead : Dusky-foot Woodrat

Dusky-foot Woodrats are nocturnal. I found this rat on the Devil's Backbone Trail fairly early in the morning. I don't think it had been dead very long, and it also appeared to only have an injury to its head. So maybe it was hit by a bicyclist? I don't think a predator would have just left it.
