| Did you know that plant poaching is a thing? And dudleyas in California are a big target for black market sales. Poaching plants is just as illegal as poaching wildlife, and there are new laws in the legislature to try to deal specifically with this problem. Compare this photo with Photo 24 above. They are both of the same cliff face; the one above is before a poacher took many of the plants and this one is after. |
