I found these two small almond trees at the southern edge of the park.
| By mid-July, the larger tree was drying out. |
| When spring came around again (2019), the larger tree did not leaf out at all. |
| But wait! By the time summer rolled around, the lower part of the larger tree had leaves. It was still alive! |
