Galls, Diseases, and Pests - Manzanita Red Shoots Gall

This gall may be caused by the same fungus as the Exobasidium arctostaphyli Manzanita leaf spots but so far, the cause has not yet been determined conclusively. The leaves and stems of the new shoot are red instead of green.
